Description
I made this tart with a crisp homemade crust and a light diplomat cream — a blend of smooth custard and whipped cream. On top, I added fresh seasonal fruit: berries, kiwi, strawberries… always colourful and full of flavour. It’s delicate, gently sweet, and perfect to share with others.
Ingredients
For the tart crust: unsalted butter, plain flour, fresh eggs, sugar (just enough), natural vanilla, a pinch of salt
For the diplomat cream: fresh eggs, milk, cornstarch (or fine corn flour), sugar, whipped cream, natural vanilla, a pinch of salt
Topping: fresh seasonal fruit (e.g. strawberries, blackberries, kiwi, raspberries)
